Nutella Swirled Peanut Butter Banana Bread/ Kek Pisang Peanut Butter & Nutella

Nothing can go wrong with Nutella and Peanut Butter. Plus, the addition of banana makes this bread healthy, right? Right. Oh, I can't seem to find Reese's PB cups here in Malaysia. Anyone knows where can I find them?

Nutella Swirled Peanut Butter Banana Bread
Original recipe: sally's baking addiction

Ingredients:

  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour *I used all-purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup Reese’s mini cups (NOT the bite-sized Reese’s, the smaller MINI ones. Or use 3/4 cup chopped regular sized Reese’s Cups) **
  • 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips **
  • 3 heaping tablespoons Nutella
** I replaced the Reese's Cups and chocolate chips with 1 cup of coarsely chopped milk chocolate.

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Spray loaf pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together bananas, peanut butter, oil, egg and sugars.
  4. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Batter will be very thick. DO NOT OVERMIX.  Fold in Reese’s Mini cups and chocolate chips.
  5. Spread batter into prepared pan. Drop 3 tablespoons of Nutella on top of bread in a row. Swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for about 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Baking times may vary.
  7. Let cool in loaf pan for 10 minutes, then loosen the edges of the pan with a knife and remove from loaf pan, transferring bread to a cooling rack. I let my bread cool for about 2 hours before cutting into it.
*Do not, I repeat, do NOT overmix the batter! Overmixed batter leads to tough, crumbly baked goods.

Sumber: sally's baking addiction

Bahan-bahan:

  • 3 biji pisang ranum, dilecek halus
  • 1/2 cawan mentega kacang
  • 1/4 cawan minyak sayuran
  • 1 biji telur
  • 1/3 cawan gula
  • 1/4 cawan gula perang
  • 1 1/2 cawan tepung gandum
  • 1/2 sudu kecil baking soda
  • 1 1/2 sudu kecil baking powder
  • 1/2 sudu kecil garam
  • 1 cawan coklat cip/ coklat bar dicincang kasar
  • 3 sudu besar Nutella
Cara-cara:
  1. Panaskan oven 180C. Gris loaf pan dengan mentega. Ketepikan.
Gaul adunan macam buat muffin.

    1. Hi @Abbe!
Who can resist a slice of Banana Bread? Not when there are Nutella, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips in it too! My absolute favourite! The peanut butter really gives this bread a great texture, and taste too of course! You are going to love this bread, I promise.

      Happy Baking!
